Any news on when we can collect shards? I'm a bit annoyed about this, as I bought the bundle and find I can't improve the star rating. I'd seen U-Wing shards in the shop, but hadn't paid much attention to them and didn't realise they were all for Bistan.

Did you lvl it at all? There is much more than $$$ stars....
Use the time to lvl the 3 pilots to:
7*
Gear 9 or better
Lvl 85
5* mods
Ship:
Lvl 84 for 7 update of basic
This is not a ship to do the challanges, e.g. 5*/6* Battleship. Thats high end because of Jyn(gilde)
The bell of battle will call you - be prepered. (Guess would be 1-6 months)

It is a good 4* folder ship that gets gang banged at start.

Well the mysterious blue energy, could mean a new ship table, which could mean ship (or hardware ) farming, which could mean ships (or hardware ) will be farmable.....soon....

Usually they are more theatrical about new things so who knows what's going on and when that might happen.....
