Level up vs gear lvl vs stars

Hello,

I'm somewhat of a noob to swgoh and wanted to know if there is any benefit to trying to max out character stars first or gear lvl first or overall character level first? Or is it all the same regardless of which comes first?

Order doesn't matter at all. It all ends up the same.

In the end, it doesn't matter which order you do it in. You will eventually hit the level/star/gear cap and it will be the same no matter the order. If you mean which has the greatest benefit, gear seems to be the best to do as you see more of a drastic increase in stats.
