Ship speed calculation issue?

Is there some hidden modifier we don't know about when it comes to calculating which ship gets to attack first?

I just vs'd another player who had a biggs x-wing at 148 speed, my TIE fighter pilot ship has 162 speed and my fotfp ship has 178 speed yet when the fight started his biggs got to attack first before any of my 2 ships??

What's going on here? That doesn't seem right at all....

As you can see his tfp shop has the same speed as mine. I just vs'd him again and this time his tfp ship went first?

Did you not notice that all his ship stats are the exact same as yours? There's a bug now which shows you your own ship stats rather than opponent's
