zKylo is regaining protection through Shock. Shock should be acting like a heal immunity which now blocks protection gain, but not in this case.

They specifically didn't make it that way. Shock doesn't block protection recovery, this is WAI.

That makes no sense since it did exactly what heal immunity did, but ok.

Probably because shock does so many other things, they decided to give healing immunity an advantage in this one regard. But that's just a guess.
