Are they ever going to add the battle droids

Currently the B2 Super Battle Droid is a playable toon. There are regular battle droids in the PvE battles, but they have not announced anything about them becoming available. I think there is a percentage of the player base that is hoping for a Separatist faction pass in general, but no news on that as of yet.
