Does Luminara's "Elegant Steps" end when she dies?

In arena with an opponent running Lum as lead, each Jedi receives 6% (level 6) of Lum's max health at the start of their turn. So after she's dead, then I assume they don't continue to receive the pre-turn heal? Does it retain state on Lum's health level as stored at the start of the battle? It might change my strategy a bit as I don't kill her off first.
