Biggs get full TM when not attacked

Fighting a wiggs team in GW and palp gets first attack. I target STHan with palp basic and Biggs immediately gets full TM. I restart and target Wedge instead with palps basic, Biggs gets full TM. Biggs unique says that he gets full TM when taking damage from empire. Palp basic says deal damage to target enemy. How is Biggs taking damage from palps basic when he's not targeted???

Because of palpatine unique crackling doom. Deals special damage to all Jedi and rebel enemies at the end of palps turn

It's Splash damage, caused by Palp being an Empire. It also applies with Palp being on Wiggs team, by using the offense up buff, you cause a process of Biggs unique to allow him to get full TM.

It actually happens because palpatine is empire. Biggs unique procs when surviving a hit by empire or a critical hit

Except crackling doom is not labeled as empire damage so if crackling doom doesn't crit on Biggs it will not trigger adrenaline rush.

Same thing with shore trooper. His basic attack damage is missing the "empire_damage" tag so of it doesn't crit it doesn't trigger adrenaline rush.

EP let the hate flow is correctly labeled as empire_damage and will trigger both opponent and ally Biggs adrenaline rush.
