How does the Pit 24 hour rule work?

Like the title says, how does it work?

Long story short, I just left a guild that taxed my patience expecting me to carry the load for the team, and nearly every guild in the list has this rule I'm not familiar with.

Can anyone fill me in?

Waiting 24hrs allows lowers to place a zero to ensure they get some raid rewards

So a player during the first 24 hours would need to go into the Pit, and retreat without attacking? Sounds easy, thanks for the reply.

No, you need to send in one weak weak char, and die, but do not hit the captain. That's how you log a zero
