I was trying to get the last shard for Dooku in DS & LS battles to star him up but it was like 0/17 and today I got it from the finishing the GW. The shard drop was terrible but finishing GW helped me

I had that with Dooku at the cantina. Now I'm 3 shards away from 6*

I just got done burning 120 cantina energy and no shards dropped so 0/12, at 12 minutes recharge per 1 energy that's way too low of a droprate, but congrats on your last shard.

I went 0 for 20 on FOTP shards once.
Sucks when you just can't catch a break but I went 6/6 on Poe PvE hard nodes today.
I know the drop rates average out at 33% so I don't sweat the cold streaks and don't get too excited at the hot ones.

Hmm... could it be possible to balance hot and cold streaks somehow? I am not a specialist here but it is not normal when you have a shard drop rate like 0/12 or 0/17 or even 0/20.

I usually get 2/12 rey shards. This is so frustrating and she is still 4 Stars.

I got 0/15 once. And also got 6/6 in other shards. Both are comparable odds.

Editor: if you put both together, it is 6/21, which is only slightly below average.

Can't change this or it won't be RNG anymore. Rates are fine over the long haul. Just when your cold streak ends, it usually gets followed by a hot streak. At least that's what I'm experiencing.

A long time ago (in this galaxy) @CG_JohnSalera posted in a discussion complaining about drop rates saying they were going to work on some way to make the dry spells less painful. No details are known yet.

yeah today i went 5/20 in cantina. but the past week or so i've been at 12+/20, so no sweat for me. i'm 1 day away from 7* dooku

Is it true RNG or is it a %based system so sayyyyy you have 1-100. Chances for a stormtrooper are 33% but chances for old Ben are only 5% so your "number" is random but your chance is not?

My RNG went well this morning as well, it made up for a tough day yesterday.

It's not a shard, but I just went 5/15 (120 energy) to get Mk 8 BlasTech Prototype up to 19/20. Then I proceeded to go 0/21 to get the final piece (one 50 crystal refresh and waiting for energy to refill partially).

So frustrating!

I also got 0/18 Dooku shards in the past. Possibly more, but don't remember.

For dooku in the month of January I went 11 for 192. Started the month 18/30 ended 29/30. Finally got # 30 on Feb 1
