Instead of changing the prizes from the Challenges and Raids, add 2 generic Toons (that won't be OP) for both LS and DS, that ONLY equips the stuff everyone would have crazy amounts of.
There's like, what, 6 items that are constantly given as "prizes"? Let's call them X, Y, Z, A, B, and C to make it simple.
Make it that the Gear Requirements are a combination of:
200 of X, Y, and Z to get to G2 (55, 85, 60) <===example split
300 of X, Y, and Z to get to G3 (90, 95, 115) <===example split
400 of X, Y, and Z to get to G4 (220, 100, 80) <===example split
500 of A, B, and X to get to G5
600 of A, B, and X to get to G6
700 of A, B, and X to get to G7
800 of Y, Z, and C to get to G8
900 of Y, Z, and C to get to G9
1000 of Y, Z, and C to get to G10
At least this way, players would stop complaining, and the Devs don't have to re-work the game for gear.
I don't know how many pieces are actually considered to be "in super excess" of, maybe there's 7 or 8 pieces. But I think there are 6.
Maybe someone who's been playing for over a year can give me a more accurate number.

When you're accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression.

This feature was available when the game was released but then it was removed - to everyone's disappointment.
I wasn't around for that, but was there a reason why it was removed? Too many bugs? Highly exploitable?
