People in raids that aren't in the guild

A friend of mine noticed something strange yesterday. We started a Rancor Tier 2 raid that, to be frank, was going for 2 days because we couldn't do enough damage before getting eaten. But, after it was over, we were going over the leaderboard, and noticed people in spots 11 and 12. We only have 10 people in our guild, and these names WERE NOT there. How can people have come into our raid, and apparently participated, since they had done some damage, but not be in the guild? And our guild is set to private.

First post to the boards. Welcome to all.

  • People that exit your guild after a raid has been started and have done damage on it will be listed as Mol Eliza on the leaderboard until that raid is completed. They must be in place before the raid starts in order to participate. If they join after you have started a raid, they will have to wait until the completion of that raid to participate in the next one

So more than likely what has happened in the scenario you have listed above is that you had 12 people going into the raid and lost two of them before the completion of it. Anyone that entered your guild after it was started would have not been able to have participated
