Mods help

I'm sure there's other topics about this, I'm sorry.
I am relatively new to mods. I've been playing the game since about march of last year and I did farm mods since, but I only farmed health mods and didn't really care about the rest of the mods, and I also didn't pay attention to secondary stats at all, so I'm kind of starting over with all my mods. So my question is, does set bonus make a big difference? And if so, what are usually the best mods to go for? I can't farm crit damage mods because I only have four of the five Jawas, and I can't farm speed mods either.

Speed sets r of little use. Really just for zCody or SA. Crit chance and crit damage sets, w/ a crit damage triangle and as much secondary speed as u can get r what u want for almost all non-tank toons.
