Removing Mods

Has anyone ever destroyed a mod after hitting the remove button? It just happened to me. Also happened to be one of my better ones with a speed secondary of 6.
I've never ever destroyed a mod before and have also never sold one. I always read the description before hitting yes or no... so I'm a little confused as to how my tenacity mod disappeared. Quite upsetting.

This appeared to be a bug previous, but has since been fixed to make the Destroy mod option give prompted warnings, so this appears to just be a slip of the tap?
