No selective phoenix packs?

I'm sorry but I have to express my concern about that fact that you guys tell us we need to farm a squad, for a character that we didn't even know was good or not, without showing us any gameplay until literally like three days before release, and not giving us much time to farm at all. The fact that the only pack in the store is a 100 dollar pack is absolutely ridiculous, I started farming Sabine literally the day double drops came out, and still don't nearly have enough shards to use her. The fact that Phoenix squad was used for this in the first place was utterly stupid, for character that only became farmable practically a week ago.
