This is confusing, seems like a bug in the messaging.
I was repeating a Hard battle on Stage 2, then I clicked on the tab for Stage 3 and the message that came up was, "Locked: Requires Stage 2 Completion"
The reality is that I had completed all of Stage 2, but what I actually needed to do was complete the Normal battles on Stage 3 to reach the Hard battles on Stage 3. So, I was confused for a little bit until I clicked on the Normal button and remembered I had battles to do in Stage 3.
