Gar Saxon assist issue

Does his Viceroy Vengence ability read to you guys that if a character attacks during an enemy turn, Gar assists? If so, if Aayla countered AND brought an assist, shouldn't Gar assist twice since 2 characters ATTACKED during an enemy turn?

I would think so. I know he assists on multiple counters vs an AoE.
Was one of the attacks evaded? Not don't know if he will assist on an evade or not.

That's possible. Maybe the ability needs to have more info. It just says if an ally attacks on an enemy turn, he assists. I'll try again and see how it works.
