Healing Immunity Debuff buggy

I know that there are some threads about this topic for special characters (Nihilus lead, Baze, etc), but what about the Debuff itself? It's been there for a very long time, is it so hard to adress this? It's so annoying when you have to gamble, because you don't know if you should/ can heal or not.
The Debuff doesn't tell you if there really is a healing immunity or not. Is it already gone and the icon is still there, or isn't it working as intended?
When I fight the rancor and got HI up on anyone (usually Droids & JE), sometimes it heals and sometimes it doesn't. Same thing in GW with IE. Sometimes I can recover with his special skill even though HI is up, sometimes it doesn't work.
Is it that hard to display the debuff correctly?
