I've gotten 70 of his shards from there since a couple days after the thrawn event started (That's after I had gotten him to 5* so I stopped farming him in cantina and just whenever he popped up in fleet shipments) and yes I had him there earlier today. RNG is RNG.

I haven't wasted any ship coins on him since Thrawn event. His shards drop very well in Cantina.
