Game crashed, lost energy

I was in the middle of Light Side-Hard 9B, I had just finished the first round and the game crashed and the app closed. When I opened the game up again I was no longer in that battle and I was out the 20 energy it cost to attempt that battle. How can I go about getting that energy back? I hate to make a big deal, but that's a good chunk of energy to lose just because the game crashed.
