Star Inconsistency in battles

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but whenever a character is revived, and I wind up having the full squad alive at the end, it shows 2* at the "Victory" screen, but then 3* when I'm out looking at the table.

Is this WAI or is it some issue with how the game registers stars?
