Timer doesn't countdown on "Challenges" screen

This may be a known bug, but I've found that when tapping on the "Challenges" area, the timer does not move. When going back to the home screen, then revisiting the "Challenges" area the timer will reflect a new lower value, but still will not actively count down.

Confirmed on both an iPhone 7 and iPad pro running the latest version of iOS.

The bug has been reported almost immediately after the ladt update, on android devices too.

I too have this bug. After a reinstall of game did not work, I went to the extreme of factory data reset on my S7 edge, and no fix. It was PITA but worth the try.

Workaround: You can watch it count down if you select the timer and enter the details screen.

I am a software dev myself, and for EA to miss one this dang obvious is ridiculous! I can understand hidden bugs but geez are they not testing anything before release?
