Damage over time

From the battles I've been since the update, DoT is now actually playing a big effect. My chars are dyig constanly.right before their turn due to DoT. Is this just me or are you guys encountering it to?

In the patch notes, it said that DOT's can now kill people, along with bombs.

I'm aware I'm just saying that its actually being very critical in battles, have you noticed it?

I barely ever have characters die to it, when you are facing a Sid, the DoT's are usually applied in the first turn, and eventually fade away by the time my characters have to go. I have not really noticed a dramatic change with it killing my characters

Yep, this is particularly huge for the poor bomb throwers among the characters. The release notes clearly stated this change.

Vader is almost irrelevant, and as I said, Sid uses his DoT too early, which doesn't affect my characters by the end of the match

I usually counter-heal for Vader's DoT because you only see him in GW.

In GW I have noticed that Sid doesn't always use his DOT early.

For instance I was running through different scenarios earlier. I tried putting Ackbar in my lineup hoping that Sid would use his DOT and I could use all those negative status effects to get a free heal. Surprisingly he didn't use it the first time around like he had every other instance. Instead they singled out Ackbar in the beginning.

I lost Dooku in an arena battle to this but it worked in my favor as well as I had attacked their Sid earlier and he had the DOT and just a sliver. I was able to ignore him and hit Phasma first and knock her out, their Sid activated and died. Two down in .5 seconds.

This is how I expected it to work when I started. You have to be careful with people low on health with DOTs still active but I've always been a fan of killing someone without them knowing they are already dead.
