Different PVP ladders for iOS and Android?

Some co-workers and I were talking about this a couple weeks ago. They're in like the 2000-range as far as their rankings, and were completely shocked that I was in the (at the time) 400's (I'm still at least close to that, depending on how many fights I can actually do a day now). Has anyone else noticed any sort of possible discrepancy between the possible opponents between iOS clients and Android? Or do I just consistently get lucky with my possible opponents?

There are different ladders, yes. Even on the same platform, people usually end up in completely different ladders, and that's worldwide.
