Casual Guild Vs. Hardcore Guild

What goes into deciding which type you are running? I know a lot of the "hardcore guilds" require 600 and boot those who don't hit it. We are a little more relaxed and give people a break on that. Is the 600 requirement the only difference? Does it matter if you are completing haat or not? (We are). I have seen lots of comments and opinions on this. Just looking for some more thoughts.

I define it by the strictness of rules. In my guild for example, we require players make a contribution to the guild daily activity and missing such contribution gets you a strike. Therefore, I'd consider my guild hardcore.
