Question on Yoda Event

I have some questions on Yoda Event

1) I read that you can only have one attempt at the respective tier challenge. So assuming you failed to use the retreat button, and lost the battle, does that consider your challenge attempted? or you can try again just like the challenge event?

2) If I were to complete tier 1 this time round. Would I be able to complete tier 1 again when the event comes back?

oh, i saw some videos and got my answer for first question.
Just wondering on the second question now.

1. You can attempt as many times as you like if you continue to fail. I lost at 6* probably 20+ times without retreating until I finally beat it.

2. Doubtful, it seems progressive and if that was the case, people could repeat sections to get shards instead of having to beat the higher difficulty.

Fudgement

1) I don't think it is so complicated. You can just keep trying I believe.

2) Nope. They state that in the next event it continues from where you have progressed.
