There are only 2 gmt lead teams on my Nov 15 shard (top 50). Both run him with your team + death trooper. The double cooldown increase is brutal.
Shore trooper may be a placeholder while you farm, but DT is the better fit.
Interestingly EP plays a role here. He uses his heal and enemies drop below 100% health which becomes Defense down at least and with a zeta becomes an Expose. I'd consider GMT, Thrawn, DN, Shoretrooper/GK and EP.
