Who needs gear list incomplete

When you tap on an item of gear (e.g. in the shops), the list of characters needing the gear is incomplete the first time you do it. This happens if there are more characters than will fit on one screen. The first time you view it, you will see only one screenfull of characters (can not scroll). If you exit viewing the gear, and then view it again, you will see a bit of another character portrait at the edge, the list of character pictures will be scrollable, and will have more characters on it.

I am not sure under what conditions it goes back to showing just one screenfull of characters, but it happens routinely. (For instance, the next time the store contents has refreshed or the next day when I look at a piece of gear, it will again show an incomplete list.)
