Commander skywalker and ships?

Are we going to get an x-wing for commander luke and R2?!

Also why are so many ships impossible to get? Why can't we get missions for ships where we can earn shards? I get initially making new ships only obtainable by cards but how can we still not get millennium falcon or kylo ren's shuttle? It's been out for awhile already

I believe that helmet in the picture is the one luke trained with in ANH, not his x wing combat helmet
