What is the point of 100 or so of the existing characters?

Seriously what is the point of 100 or so older characters in the Game? The last 20 or so released characters makes the all of the older ones useless and out of date. I do not see the point in this. Why not just remove the old characters and make everyone have to pay to have the latest 20 characters and each month retire an old character and replace it with a new one. It is pretty bad in galactic war when a team can beat any other team that includes g11 and zetas. This game has serious balance issues that need to be addressed.

Poe and QGJ would like to discuss how wrong you are. yes they have received zetas but not real reworks.

The goal of the game was to have a sandbox of toons to build teams to compete in different aspects of the game. The devs have also stated that they didn't want any one team to be able to do it all.

- they don't have a ship.
- they don't really have a place in a raid team (not a first choice in any of the high scoring ones)
- they are also not that great unless paired together (baze is solid, but chirrut is just meh by himself)

Those are are 2 pretty important aspects of the game.

and on the side note about duos, people always want to forget that it takes twice the effort to gear, lvl, and star. in arena that's 2 positions that need to be taken to get the advantage and once you remove one the other is a lot easier to handle

Even though I shamelessly use Chaze, I have to say that when you encounter a GW Node 12 of fully geared, fully starred, top rank Arena team of Rex Lead, Chaze, Nihilus, and GK/R2/Thrawn/Zylo/Whoever it doesn't matter if you have the entire roster at level 85 and 7*, if they aren't geared up to at least GX and equipped with some fairly decent mods, that team will mow down everyone on your roster and you'll never put a dent in them.

Right cause ships count, if they wanted ships to count then they wouldn't have 3 of them behind a paywall and 1 of them not available anywhere.
