Push notifications - deactivate?

Am I missing it or is there no option for turning off PN's? It was fine before the recent update, but now I'm getting 3/day because of the (awesome) energy boost. I know they're coming, and don't want the lightsaber sound going off all day!
(People already know I'm a nerd, don't need to confirm it audibly!)

If you're on Android, you just turn off the notification in app settings (quick translation from Danish menus on an HTC device, maybe slight variations on yours) : Settings / apps / GOH / untick "show notifications".

From inside the game, click on the cogwheel > legal > notification

That's a, let's say, creative place to put it. How in the name of Cthulhu did you stumble on that? Sudden urge to go over the ToS with a fine tooth comb?
