Repayable legendary events

CLS event is awesome.. So is thrawn. However it is too bad we can't run them again.
It has been brought up numerous times, but I fail to find answer to why it is not possible to replay events? The system to deal with first time completion is already here, so why not let people enjoy the events for minor rewards..?

There is no why, it just is. The devs have recently stated that they are considering it. So stay tuned.
