Game locking on WiFi only mode.

Game locks frequently when in WiFi mode, or on WiFi only device. Seems random, but happens when in wifi mode or on wifi only device. Whenever the game has to contact the server, ie character upgrade, gear upgrade, etc. at random times it will lock on the loading screen. On my wifi only device, if i turn wifif off then back on again it will load as its supposed to. On cellular device turning on mobile data fixes it as does turning wifi off and back on. Seems like the software at random times does not utilize wifi and searches for mobile data signal?

Thought it may be my wifi service so took both devices to another location and the same issue arises.
