No, becouse Yoda was Jedi and fought before, even in his last days he still had some power and abilities. But C3PO never fought or had any abilities, he is only most irritating character and one of the worst characters (only ewoks are worse).

Disagree - Jar Jar is worse.

3P0 doesn't have to fight if he is a support character that grants certain buffs to team. He could also self-revive, considering he was blown to bits by a stormtrooper and came back together again.

That kind of a support toon, guarded by Chaze or GK - could be annoying to get rid of - which would tie into his annoying character in the movies quite nicely.

Well - he should be the same as R2 in that regard: Droid, Galactic Republic, Rebel and Resistance.

He should also perhaps have special synergy with R2.

Given C3PO's frequent role as a sort of decoy, I think he could have a zeta on his unique that behaves like Nihilus' skill, but instead of inflicting DoT on a random enemy when C3PO takes a turn, he could inflict Expose. He draws enemies out with his shiny gold distraction. That would synergize heavily with Resistance but not be too OP, especially if he didn't have a damaging attack so he couldn't simultaneously hit and clear the Expose himself. It would also synergize with CLS and his turn meter gain if it's resisted. And under a Jyn lead it could double-expose. And under an Ackbar (or Chirpa zeta) lead he could do one of his non-damaging skills and a rebel ally would (or Ewok ally might) get called to assist and hit the newly Exposed enemy.

And maybe one of his skills anyway calls R2 to assist, so C3PO sets them up with an Expose, and R2 knocks them down with a Stun or burn.

I never thought about it, but maybe Yoda is passed at R2 because R2 knows everything that has happened but just goes along pretending he can't be helpful. O.o
