Connecting Issue

After the lunch refresh, I have not been able to connect to the game. The app boots up through the company logos, but when it gets to the title screen and it's checking for updates it says there is a connection error.

I always play on my iPad. However, after this issue I loaded the app on to my phone, but there was still no success with connecting to the game. I even changed to the 2nd account on my router and still no success. Yet other games and internet services are suffering no connection issues.

I change to my 4G network on my phone and the game loads without issue. What is going on?

    Same here. I have that problem too and I'm in Japan as well.

    Update! I deleted it and downloaded it again from the Apple App Store and it still refuses to connect

    I have the same problem. It can't sign in to my email account.

    Update! I went to use a friends wifi, got the update when I opened the app and all was fine. Came home and the app opened up with no problem on my wifi. Everything is working as it should. Not sure what the problem was but it is working now.
    Good luck with signing into your email account.
