Clone Help

Hey all.....looking for some advice. I just zeta'd my Cody, and attempted phase 4 of the normal tank today. Knocked the tank down once, when it came back up, that ship took out all but CS1 of my clones. I know I don't have them all geared high, but three were gear 10/11. Any advice on how to avoid that, or improve?
