This is terrible news - they were awkward with each other because they are bad actors! or at elast had bad lines and poor directing. They were awkward in AOTC and even in ROTS before Anakin ever started being corrupted.

She never expected Anakin to turn bad and alsmost cannot believe what Obi Wan tells her - she is so distraught and upset and in shock of the news she impulsively leaves to confront him on Mustafar - she never plotted against Anakin from the beginning of the movie - that's dumb.

Plus if she had - this would have portrayed Anakin as nothing but a monster that could never have been redeemed - this is not the case. Their love and his love for her and his potential family is what ultimately saved him from the darkside in the end.

So I am glad this nonsense never made it into the movie - it would have ruined the PT even more.
