Zeta drop rate needs to be fixed

I have now gone 24 attempts without a single zeta dropping from the fleet challenge, that's 6 weeks!!! I have even tried manually battling or changing up the fleet configuration all to no avail. I have spent a little bit of money on this game since launch & until this gets fixed I won't spend another dime. How am I supposed to keep up?! Between giving the whales what they wanted with the gear increase & the adding of new characters that are needed for every new event, it's impossible to remain even remotely competitive. This past month has been far & away the least fun this game has ever been. After 2 years of playing daily, I honestly am at the point of deleting this game.
Fix the bloody RNG!!!!!!

Do you honestly see them reading this will lead them to change their revenue model?

Don't get me wrong, I know where you're coming from. I just used 240 energy and got one single carbanti and I need about 300 sets of 50 but I could go 1 for 10,000 and it won't change anything until they lose money over it. Just being realistic.

    Don't see the problem.

Also, I call kitten. Sorry mate, but 6 weeks? At least make it believable.

RNG can be pretty terrible, but I doubt they'll increase the drop rate on account of us. I've gotten 0 on the last 4 days as well, so I'm waiting for those good RNG days.

This is SWGOH where the statistically very improbable happens often but only if it's negative. I've gone 1 out of 33 twice in one week but never have I seen 10 drops in a row. Yes, I've tracked a lot and still do on occasion.

Maybe he's exaggerating but I'm sure someone has gone 6 weeks.

You'll go through waves not getting any and then get a lot.

They need to give ud more ways to get zetas... As more zeta abilities arrives more zetas become useless..

I got a total of 3 zeta mats in the month of August from the challenge. That’s 13 days it was open, two attempts per day - 26 total. I got one single mat and a double. So that’s 2 successful attempts out of 26 for a 7.69% success rate.

    Just my experience.

I got 4 yesterday and 0 today. I've had several weeks with droughts before.

You haven't a clue. I've also gone several months with only getting the 1.5 mil on credit heists. If you don't know, don't comment

Sounds awful. Had three in a row with two zetas each. I hope it gets better for you.

Zeta challenges are not refreshable and the difference in Fleet Arena rewards for #1 vs. #50 are not even worth refreshing for. The point being, for all practical purposes, Zeta materials are not "revenue", as premium currency (i.e. crystals) cannot be used to obtain more.

It's not that drop rates need to be changed, imho - I think they need to be done away with as far Zeta mats are concerned. It should be like many of the other challenges, where at least one is guaranteed (or even 1/day). The frustration is that a bad week or two in a row can put players at a significant disadvantage for several weeks - and not because of poor choices or poor strategy, simply bad luck.

I get the RNG is part of the game. And if I lose a battle or a few from bad RNG, fine. But to be at a strategic disadvantage for several weeks because of poor RNG is poor design. Especially since there is no way to make up for bad drop rates on Zeta materials (i.e. they're not buyable).

Totally agree i just got my second zeta in 3 weeks. I forgot what they looked like. I have found and also talking to some others that once you 3 star the ships ability you will get a better flow off zetas. When I got to my third zeta it started to drag it took two weeks to get 1. Now on my fourth it's almost non existent. I'm sure it's designed to stop your progress like house rules in the casino. I'm not saying it has to be everyday. But 1 zeta In 3 weeks.

All my ships are 7 stars & all my pilots are gear 11 & it hasn't changed my drop rate in the least.

I completely agree that a single zeta mat should be a guaranteed every challenge. Over the course, I've bought roughly half of my mats & just earned my 6th zeta character, my guild average for zeta characters is 11 & the next lowest to me is 8,(even for the couple who are lower in level & have been playing less than half as long as I). This definitely puts me at a disadvantage, not just in my guild activities, but in GW & arena.

Any type of content that arbitrarily rewards one player over another, simply due to the randomness of it, is just lazy archaic design. Slapping a RNG on everything is easy, but maybe designing games and their supporting mechanics should involve, you know, actual thought.

@CG_Kozispoon What is the reasoning and/or intended drop rate for zeta materials? The last 4 weeks( 24 attempts) farming zetas just from the challenges gets me 3? Please FIX the drop rate or at least give a good reason why all these other aspects of the game can be fixed/adjusted and zetas are summarily ignored as a SERIOUS quality of life issue. More characters that use and/or need zetas just makes it even more painful.

Add in ships and their increased role for TB, and its almost an identical conflict of interest that mods and character farming presents. With all the characters and drop of the hat requirements, if you don't fix this soon, you'll have to reel in some new customers, me included.
