Location glitches - Heroes moving through objects

Is this intentional?



If so, why?

I've made a couple of bug threads in the bug section about certain locations:

Ye these hills where half of the body of the toon disappears into doesn't seem right to me.
I think we all suffer from this level height variance.

Could it be a platform specific problem? Cause I've never run into these sort of happenings.
