How TB can encourage teamwork contribution?

It's fun... but nothing's perfect...

It's a correct direction that players played more can contribute more... but if TB format is to encourage teamwork contribution, there is a critical default not addressed: should officers kick out low level players to merge into a more competitive guild?

Even low level players participated hardly, even tried every efforts to win a combat... there still is no way to reflect their teamwork spirit in the result... (either bear with them or kick them out are the solutions?)

Can they get some easier combats, or some adjustment factors on the combat score? Then players with longer engagement can contribute more at deployment... while new players can't score much in deployment, they may get slightly better score in combats to help the whole guild!

Is there a better way to show teamwork spirit?

In a way that doesn't amount to a participation trophy? I don't really think so.
Your team strategy shouldn't just be happening during the battle - it should be happening outside the battle as well. Farm Hoth Scout and Soldier. Farm Phoenix, Rogue1 and Rebels. Encourage members to build 3-4 good light side teams. If your guild is not able to do the more restricted combat missions, it will really hurt your star earnings. It's this preparation which will gain you more stars over time than just careful deployment alone.

Territory Battles was designed to give better rewards to those who invest more into their rosters as a guild. They don't want guilds to carry newer holo players, like the rancor and tank have done. Newer players gain significant advantage over others in arena just by joining a better guild that will carry them. They stop this behavior by making players need at least 4 teams and some spares for platoons. Now maxing out your teams only maxes out a % of the total. Then they put a proverbal knife in the newer players buy making the have a high GP....something they can't rush....making them put in there time or pay for the missed time.

What you are suggesting, goes against this design. I understand your point but this is what TBs are designed to do. To 45* TB means that every guild member needs to have a 1.951M Character Galactic Power rating,of which there are very few currently playing this game above that mark.

So basically shooting yourself in the foot since newer players are the players that will pay the bills tomorrow. But not if they're locked out of all the legendary events and quit 2 months after they start.

What legendary event are they locked out if?

Any of them. If you farm gear you aren't farming shards. If shards from stores are rediculouslg overpriced it's slow going. If you try to milk a player before they have a roster you are simply not going to have a player.

How can you expect a new player to 7 star and gear Phoenix (for thrawn and emp legendary), whatever for the r2 and cls requirements, Jedi for yoda, etc?

Agree... it seems in the beginning, the development team tried to bring a new format with the even reward design...

But, without the consideration of new players' contribution adjustment... the good intention of "win as a guild, lose as a guild" will lose its focus...

Not for long, the reshuffle of guilds will spread the feelings of " get out of our guild!" "I deserve a better guild than here!"... totally the opposite to the teamwork intention...
