So what's with the broken speed and turn meter on baze still not fixed?

My Nihilus is 234 speed. The player I just lost twice to has a 103 speed baze. So if baze attacks and magically crits at 33% crit chance like he always does. How is 10% TM gain from "critting" under wedge lead at 103 speed + 10%TM faster than 234?so if baze does a basic and crits and goes again with a fierce reprisal? But of course baze goes again because he crit 4 or 5 characters and has another turn yet again because you know 33% chance to crit = 100%.

Baze Malbus gains 5% Turn Meter whenever an enemy gains a buff.
Did you by any chance use any characters that gained buffs? Zaul/SA/ST?
