Poe always has taunt up, and even god mod speed pales in comparison to expose tm gain. BB8's mods are possibly the least important on the entire team. Poe outrunning the other team's fastest is the most important factor. Other exposers should be potent...but BB8's special helps with this now so you can focus damage. Speed secondaries and arrows are great but that is true for 99% of chars.
BB8 just needs to share his buff a couple times, spread tenacity down, and kick off that sweet special a time or two. He shouldn't be getting hit except for due to poor taunt with Finn backup taunt.
