Suggestion: make gear rewards selectable

When completing a gear challenge, perhaps instead of the default loot screen you make a screen that looks more like the shipments screen, where players can select the reward they want.

A player, upon winning the challenge, gets a certain number of "picks" to spend on his rewards.

The quantity of each reward item is determined as it is today, with more options added to each rarity tier. To help balance things, each of the gear items would require a number of picks based on it's rarity (green stuff may be one pick, blue two, and purple three). The number of picks awarded would also vary by challenge tier. Perhaps you get 3 for tier 1, 5 for tier 2, and 6 total for tier 3.

With these changes players would have more options available to them. Maybe at tier 3 the player could pick two purple rewards (or some other combination), while a tier 1 winner can still pick a purple if he wants, or use his picks for two or three lower-rarity items.

You could even include credit package options for those who truly do not need the gear. At least that would keep them finishing the challenges.
