Character shards purchase in shipments

Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this issue as I couldn't find it.
I purchased 3 character shards from the shipments for 150 crystals, it was showing barriss offee, I had 76/80 knowing it would put me up to 79 I'd be bound to get at least 1 tomorrow to unlock it, after purchasing I checked my characters and it still showed 76, went back to the shipments which still showed I had purchased 3 shards for barriss, back to characters still not 79, back to shipments still shows barriss. After restarting the app and checking shipments it shows I've bought shards for the snowtrooper instead?!
This was not at the point of timing out this was a solid hour afterwards, it wasn't the item next to barriss as it has disappeared altogether and also I did check by pressing on the item in shipments as I wanted to see how many I needed to get it to make the decision as to whether it was worth it or not
Hope someone else has had the same issue and it's not just me though
