Have been attempting this today and have to say my experience has been horrendous. Going through the contact EA page, no one seemed to have a clue what they were doing. Then when finally got to speaking to someone that the slightest idea I got the feeling I was being lied to. I was told that 'there is no way for us transfer the account but since you are a special customer to us we will do it as a one time thing'. Given that this has been discussed many times in the forums and
@CG_Kozispoon even put a message out saying it was possible was a bit annoyed. After a technical issue with trying to give the documents required to get it transferred am now sat waiting for a chat to become available.
Sorry to tag you in this Kozi as im not sure if this is really your bag at all.
