I don't think the problem is that Boba is weak. I think the true issue is that the current meta is stupid, so many characters including Boba Fett don't have a place within the meta, making them useless right now. If anything, the current meta has made it that under 10 characters are useful and that is the saddest part...

No boba is weak.

Does weak damage from his normal attack, slow, his AoE is weak.

His self res is great ( why self res on boba anyways?) Ability block on AoE is great, but easily resistable. Has good health.

Honestly, he needs about a 150% increase in normal damage. That would put him in the mid dmg ranges. Boost his speed a little. Not a lot or ability block from his AoE could be game changers, but fast enough to go before healers so his AoE could do its job. Not talking about speed to where he goes before lumi with qgj lead. Talking speed that he goes before her without the buff.

Then he would be usable.

Also need a new toon that had scoundrels lead abilities as scoundrels as a whole are pretty worthless

Believe it or not, his damage is in the mid-range; 2600 isn't terrible. It could definitely use a slight buff, but not too much.

He definitely needs more Potency. His AoE does OK damage, but the big problem is making that Ability Block stick, and doing it sooner.

Most of all, he needs a speed buff. Right now he is at 101 speed, which is abysmal. He doesn't do enough damage, have enough health or enough armor, to stick in a fight reliably.

His leader is pretty fantastic though, and becomes probably the best overall in the game at 8 (50% damage and 10% crit chance).

If they made him immune to turn meter reduction passively on Resolve, and upped his Potency, he would definitely have a shot at being on more Arena teams, especially when that 80 cap comes around.

Fett is so slow, he can ability block (80% anyway) after everyone has used their abilities.

From the books he recovers from near dead damage often

Boba IMO needs to be buffed.

What I would do to him:

Base revive chance 30% and increases by 5%-20% (after upgrades) every turn. Increased revive chance resets once Boba revives.
Revived Boba Fett gets +50% turn meter increase for 1/2/3 turns.
Revived Boba Fett gets its powers cooldown reset.
Base attack should use the weapon instead of arm missiles and could do a damage buff.

Fett is kind of like Darth Maul in that he's a fast and agile attacker, not this slow methodical tank. He should be re-vamped for sure. Add a 3rd attack that uses his arm lasso to disable a character for 1 turn.

He could do a high dodge chance plus chance of stunning the enemy when dodging an attack, or slowing its turn meter gain.

I would love to see a #BobaBuff as well. Another iconic character who isn't great at anything.

Bobba Fett should use his blaster for basic attacks and the arm missles for his AOE special, just like what he does in lore.
