He fits in perfectly with Vader and Palpatine trying to kill each other. It’s a game for them. It shows perfectly how screwed up the Sith became. Palpatine has his messed up apprentices, Vader has his, Dooku had Ventress, Maul survived and took Savage then began corrupting Ezra.
