Would you want another event like the Yoda one? I've seen lots of talk about a scoundrel event, and it's possible that the Emperor will be available via an Empire or Sith event.

No, I'd rather see the reward character just be added into shipments
Yes, but only if the reward is credits or droids or mats

And the Yoda battles were cool.
Darth Bane would be a sweat addition to my collection.
I hope they're spaced similarly to how the Yoda event is. And, for those that don't browse the forum often, I'd like to see them put an advertising in the events like they have now with Yoda, to give those players a heads up of more than a couple days.
For types of events, I would like to see
Empire/Sith > Palpatinr
Night sister -> Mother Talzin
Ewoks -> Logray (wicket maybe.. Rather see Logray)
Yes, I would like to see more events like the Yoda event that offer exclusive characters. Valent has a couple of good suggestions immediately above this. But, I'd like these events to be few and far between. I wouldn't mind the next one of these not debuting until May/June.
I would also like events like the Yoda event that offer materials/mats/credits. Essentially, just like the "challenges" we have now, but with much greater variety. In my mind, no reason these couldn't pop up as early as the update promised for this coming week.
Today, we have Attacker, Healer, and Tank challenges. Supplement those with three more -- say "Droids", "Humans" and "Clones". Award some of the gear that you need to collect like 50 of once you make purple.
Bottom line -- we need a reason to have more than just your top 5 toons. If you choose to invest everything in your Arena team, then you suffer in other areas.
I would even like to see alternate arenas added -- a second arena space with restrictions on what characters can be used. The restrictions on characters can change every month. Maybe it is Jedi in March, and switches to Sith in April, then to Nightsisters in May. Completely identical to the standard arena except for the character restriction (to minimize needed developer work).
