7* BB8 minimum gear reqs

Ive been trying to find out what is needed to clear event with as little as possible. One rumor I heard is that gear 8 for all toons with kylo at gear 9/10 is enough with no one zetad...Ive also had the impression that this topic is obsolete if you have Kylo Zetad. Thoughts?

Yes, Zylo can solo. G8 for everyone is doable with good RNG. G9+ makes it easier.

You're about right. I beat it with all G8 (most were almost G9), no zetas, and it took a lot of tries. Zylo would have made it a walk in the park

You will just be at the mercy of RNG. Based on R2 and thrawn, you will be able to do it, it just might take ~50-100 tries.

Obviously need to level up some and take Phasma from 7 to 8. Though I'll also swap over arena mods for the event so hopefully that will help compensate for lower ability levels. Have a bunch of purple saved up (over 250 now) if push comes to shove on that front.

So I have gl 5 fost, fotp, and officer, but I also have gl10 zylo and gl9 phasma. Should this cut it

g10 Zylo should be able to solo the event

Do we need 7* First Order toons to unlock 7* BB8 though?

Yes. All these events require 7* to unlock 7*. Most (CLS and new Rey excluded) also require 5* to unlock 5* and 6* to unlock 6*.

I did with 4 FO at g8 and FOST at g7 with arena mods. Had to retry a few times thou.

I beat it with:

Level 80 G10 TFP
Level 81 G9 Phasma (L)
Level 80 G9 Kylo
Level 52 G7 FOST
Level 64 G7 FOO

All crap and unleveled mods except for FOTP who had all 5* mods and a speed arrow and Phasma who had leveled mods (not 5* and a speed arrow).

Took me about 30 tries, but I eventually got the RNG to win without switching mods or anything.
