Chimaera AOE attack removing stealth

I used ghost to apply stealth to tie reaper for 2 turns.
Basically, immediately after applying stealth to my tie reaper, the opposing chimaera attacked with it's AOE which inflicts damage and removes TM. The attack also incorrectly removed the stealth that I just applied to my tie reaper.
Immediately after stealth being removed, the opposing ships targeted and destroyed my tie reaper, which should have still been stealthed for 1-2 turns. Very annoying.
I tried to post this as a defect in Answers HQ, but it would not let me submit. I would fill out the form and the only thing it would let me do is "Preview", so I'm posting this info here instead.
