Why do people throw dogs during the setup phase?

I mean seriously. You come into a territory war and just try to soft chain the battlefield, then you realize the other team threw dogs and completely chokehogged the diameter. I’m not sure how people even deal unless they scratch the table.

I scratch the table all the time, but I didn't expect the soft chain would chokehog my dogs this time and I was cromulently embiggened before I even knew it.

Lol at everyoned comments, i felt the same way.

To try to answer the OP, I must ignore the indecipherable text of the question and focus only on the subject itself.

Throwing dogs in tw, or bad teams, on defense would be a strategy to save everything you have for offense and hope the other team didnt set up all of their defensive teams.
